Brendan and Amy's Wedding
Our friends had a beautiful tropical wedding here on Christmas Island this weekend. The ceremony was held in a backyard garden where the sun was hot but the view priceless. We kicked back at the nearby bar (who hosting an 80s party) before hopping on the bus to go to the resort for the reception. Hors d'oeuvre by the pool followed by dinner and dancing inside, with late night swimming to cap it off. Fun times!
Congratulations Christin and Michael!
Wish I could have been there! :) Big, big love from Christmas Island to Vermont!

Ethel Beach
Had a friend over for diner on Friday, and somehow got some random pix of Arthur with Elden and myself... And then off to Ethel Beach on Saturday to play in a little pool, throw a frisbee, and play cricket on the beach.

Sarah's Birthday
Arthur, Elden, and I head to the Margaret Knoll lookout with a bottle of wine to ring in my 3rd consecutive 29th birthday. A few days later we host the inaugural homebrew/ kegerator party, drinking our keg of homebrew while cooling and dispensing it with our homemade kegerator. The carbonation is a bit weak, but it's got a beautifully rounded hoppy flavor. We invite a bunch of folks over, sip our delicious brew, and play a bit of beer pong. Great times!

Camping at Dolly Beach
We head to Dolly beach for a little camping trip, and watch the full moon rise over the ocean. Elden puts his hammock to good use, while we use our tent. We wake up to the ocean lapping our feet in the morning, and move our stuff back a bit. Apparently not far enough, as a rogue wave comes and covers everything. My croc washes out to sea, luckily to be returned on the next set of waves. We find a nice palm tree alcove a little further down the beach, and manage to get a fire going for breakfast, and a spot to dry out our gear. Elden also retrieves a fresh coconut. So very nice.
